Substance announces a new plugin for 3DS Max and Source library integration

Allegorithmic has announced both a new substance plugin for 3DS Max 2018, and that Substance Source library is to be integrated and searchable from Max’s integrated asset library. For a number of years the Substance plugin that ships with Max has been running an older version of the Substance engine, meaning that assets created in the latest version of substance designer often wouldn’t work in Max. The new plugin addresses, this issue promising to run the latest versions of Substance Engine and receive simultaneous updates with Substance Designer.
