Ryan Guy and Dennis
have released a new fluids simulation tool for Blender.
Flip Fluids has been in development for several years and creators are now looking for users to beta test the software.
As you would hope for a high performance simulation tool, the engine is written in C++, is multithreaded and GPU accelerated.
It includes the ability to simulate whitewater effects to create foam, bubbles and spray and also comes with a viscosity solver.
A built-in mesh generator is used for rendering that promises to be memory-efficient.
You can find out more and apply to become a beta tester from the projects GitHub page and watch a demo on YouTube.
